The junk mail we all get from day to day has credit card applications in it. Different credit card companies send out applications through the mail for you to apply for their credit cards right from the comfort of your own home. This process of applying for a credit card is a little less stressful for some people. Some people would rather fill out the application at home and send it through the mail so as they have no need to talk to any one. They may have a problem talking to people and the applications through the mail eliminates that.

You will get an acceptance or a denial right there online with in minutes. This makes the waiting for an answer eliminated. You now just have to wait for your credit card to arrive in the mail. The applications online are the same as the applications you receive in the mail. They are very easy to fill out and it takes only a few minutes to complete the process.

Many stores offer their own credit cards, with a Visa or Master Card logo on them. You can go in to just about any store and easily find an application to apply for their credit card. The store may offer to you a reward program of sorts if you apply for their card. They may offer a discount on purchases made in their store with this particular credit card. They may also offer a cash back reward, this being more if the card is used in their store and less if you use the card at other stores.
You can use the credit card anywhere, though. Nothing is stopping you. The only rule you have to abide by is the logo on the credit card, Visa or Master Card has to be accepted by the store you plan on using the credit card in.
