Matthew J. Peirce, Esq., is an attorney in Las Vegas who practices in immigration law. Mr. Peirce believes that immigration legal work should be affordable and easily available to those who are eligible under the immigration laws of the United States. Because immigration law is federal law, our office can assist you in your immigration needs even if you do not live in the state of Nevada.

Las Vegas is the most popular destination in the world for couples to travel to get married, with over 123,000 couples applying for marriage licenses in 2002. With that in mind, our office has developed two unique packages available for individuals, described below:
Package #1 Obtaining a green-card based on marriage to a United States citizen
There are certain criteria that the couple must meet before the non-citizen spouse can qualify to obtain a green card under U.S. immigration law.
As a couple, if you do qualify, our office has developed our own form for you to fill out. The form includes instructions and several pages of “fill in the blanks” that need to be filled out completely. Providing you fill out the form completely, all necessary forms for the entire immigration process can be prepared by our office.
The document itself is in Adobe Acrobat form and can either be filled out online or downloaded onto your computer and filled out at a later time. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat and wish to download it at this time, please click here.
The fees paid for package #1 include the following benefits:
- Confirmation of eligibility to obtain a green card based on marriage.
- Preparation of all necessary immigration documents, including a work authorization application for the intended immigrant.
- Submission of all documents to the appropriate immigration office.
- Appropriate follow-up, as needed, to each case while it is pending.
- An open phone line to our office during the entire application process for any questions you may have.
- Additional information, including a comprehensive “question and answer” pamphlet that answers a lot of questions concerning the application process.
- Advice on how to handle oneself during the “green card interview” and what items and documents to bring to this interview.
Package #2 Obtaining United States Citizenship
There are certain criteria that a person must meet before he or she can become a citizen.
If you qualify for U. S. citizenship, our office has developed our own forms for you to fill out. The form includes instructions and several pages of “fill in the blanks” that need to be filled out completely. The document itself is in Adobe Acrobat form and can either be filled out online or downloaded onto your computer and filled out at a later time. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat and wish to download it at this time, please click here.
The fees paid for package #2 include the following benefits:
- Confirmation of eligibility to obtain a U. S. citizenship.
- Preparation of all necessary immigration documents for U. S. citizenship.
- Submission of all documents to the appropriate immigration office.
- Appropriate follow-up, as needed, to each case while it is pending.

- Additional information, including a comprehensive “question and answer” pamphlet that answers a lot of questions concerning the application process.
- Advice on how to handle oneself during the “citizenship interview” and what items and documents to bring to this interview.
If you have questions before you wish to proceed about either of the packages available or about the immigration in general, you may email our office at immigrationlaw@mjplegal.com.
