Orange County Clerk's Web Sit Offers Spanish
Redesign Improves Navigation While Continuing to Offer
Popular Features
Orlando, FL---Orange County Clerk of Courts Lydia Gardner
announced the launch of the Clerk’s redesigned web site,
which offers a complete Spanish translation.
The site, located at www.orange-clerk.org, features the popular
iClerk, which allows individuals to search court dockets for information.
“The use of our web site has increased dramatically over the past two years.
The site receives more than 180,000 hits per month,” Gardner said. “We
are excited to enhance our site with a Spanish translation for our Spanish-speaking
customers.”
The site features information on courthouse locations and hours,
payment options, fee schedules, court forms, background information
for marriage licenses, passports,
mortgage foreclosures, dissolutions, orders of protection in domestic disputes,
and other court activities. There are also separate sections for the Clerk’s
divisions, including traffic, criminal, civil, probate, mental health, juvenile,
records management, and family services.
The most popular feature of the web site, iClerk, is utilized
extensively by attorneys, law enforcement, reporters and other
interested citizens to
search
court dockets for trial dates, recent court activity, payment records and
case status.
In the next few months the site will be enhanced to include a
feature for paying fines and fees over the Internet.
“A web site is always undergoing revisions and enhancements as we find
more opportunities to use technology to provide information to the public,” Gardner
said.
