The Tunnel
The Tunnel is rather sheltered and as a consequence offers few of the opportunities to swim with pelagics which other dive sites in Layang Layang can boast of.
Instead, within its hard coral formations of staghorn corals, plate corals, table corals, mushroom corals and brain corals, you'll find a tableau of micro ocean life in the form of molluscs, small crustaceans and crinoids. Additionally, there are the usual reef fish like the pufferfish, parrotfish, fusiliers and turkeyfish.

This is a great site for a night dive, for watching the nocturnal antics of mantis shrimp, crayfish, crinoids, squat lobsters, starfish, hermit crabs and sea urchins.
