(From St. Mark's Square) with the Basilica
behind you, walk under the arcades on the left (past Florian) and
take the exit from the left corner. Walk straight down to the
first bridge, the one next to the Bauer Hotel and cross over to a
wide street called the Via XXII Marzo, then take the second
turning on the right, called Calle delle Veste (there's a carpet
shop on the corner). Just one more bridge and you are here.
By public boat line 1 or 82, get off at the San Marco stop, walk down Calle Vallaresso, then turn left at the end of the street, walk straight down to the first bridge, the one next to the Bauer Hotel and cross over to a wide street called the Via XXII Marzo, then take the second turning on the right, called Calle delle Veste (there's a carpet shop on the corner). Just one more bridge and you are here.
It may seem complicated, but it is minutes away. Should you get lost, just ask the way to "Teatro La Fenice": we are right at the corner.

Da Piazza San Marco, con le spalle
alla Basilica, camminate lungo le arcate sul lato sinistro della
piazza ed uscite dall'angolo sinistro. Continuate dritti fino al
ponte dell'Hotel Bauer e proseguite dopo il ponte per una strada
larga chiamata Via XXII Marzo; lì prendete la seconda via a
destra, Calle delle Veste (cè un negozio di tappeti persiani
all'angolo). Ancora un altro ponte e siete arrivati.
Col vaporetto linea 1 o 82, scendete alla fermata di San Marco, prendete Calle Vallaresso ed alla fine della via girate a sinistra, poi dritti fino al primo ponte che è quello dell'Hotel Bauer e proseguite per una strada larga chiamata Via XXII Marzo; lì prendete la seconda via a destra, Calle delle Veste (cè un negozio di tappeti persiani all'angolo). Ancora un altro ponte e siete arrivati.
Può sembrare complicato, ma in entrambi i casi sono pochi minuti di strada. Se doveste perdervi, basta chiedere "per andare al Teatro La Fenice", siamo proprio alla sua sinistra.
