The nearest re-compression chamber to Tioman Island is Kuantan Naval Base, 150 km away. Berjaya Tioman Resort does have its own medical facility for non-diving related injuries and illnesses.
The resort provides one divemaster for every six divers and has 10 litre oxygen tanks on all dive trips. We recommend you to take out appropriate diving insurance, and bring policy details with you.
For your own personal valuables the resort provides safety deposit boxes, free of charge, in the resort's reception. There are 24 hour security guards patrolling the resort grounds.
