The Expandable Digital-to-Analog (EDAC) recording interface translates proprietary PBX switch data to an analog format used by call monitoring hardware. Expandable one port at a time, the EDAC lineup supplies quality digital conversion for an unprecedented number of PBX types.

The Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) transforms digital signals into analog. Installed between the PBX/KTS and the digital telephone set, the DAC enables the recording of "digital" conversations on standard Analog voice recording devices (a.k.a. voice logger).

• Supports up to 48 remote users.

MCK Digital-to-Digital (D2DC) Converter

The Digital to Digital Converter (D2DC) converts proprietary digital signals from the PBX directly into the recorder's native format (PCM or MVIP). This modification eliminates the need for a digital-to-analog step.

• Internally integrated logger interface solution.
• Supports up to 16 2-wire or 8 4-wire sets per card.
• Provides protocol conversion for a variety of the most commonly used PBXs including Aspect, Avaya, NEC, Nortel, Panasonic and Siemens.
