JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design and create animations and commercials for video and matrix displays. 2. Discuss concepts with creative director and customers to develop appropriate concepts for sponsors, internal sales support and consumer/fan enhancement. 3. Utilize non-linear video editing systems at Daktronics to produce final compositions. 4. Convert animation from one controller or technology type to another. 5. Responsible for remote operation of displays in conjunction with account executive. 6. Assist with Daktronics software seminars and training customers on-site. Will include travel to customer sites in the United States and/or internationally by ground and/or air. Primary travel will be in the Rocky Mountain (Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington) and California region. 7. Create proposal animations, sequences and graphic frames for demonstrations and presentations to customers. 8. Willing to participate in appropriate company sponsored training to improve controller skills, product knowledge and personal improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Mass Communication or Broadcast Journalism. 2. Experience and/or education in video production and editing. 3. Knowledge of software programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and AfterEffects preferred. 4. Graphic design background preferred. 5. Windows NT and DOS experience helpful. 6. Daktronics is a leader in the design and manufacture of electronic scoreboards, computer-programmable displays, and large screen video displays with installs in the Las Vegas area like Gold Coast Casino, The Beach, Venetian Hotel, Terrible Herbst, McCarran International Airport, and Sam Boyd Stadium. Keyframe, a division of Daktronics, provides services to these customers such as maintenance, training, production, and content. The Las Vegas office is seeking for a highly motivated, organized individual to provide service and technical support to Daktronics customers in the Las Vegas/Rocky Mountain area. Will also promote additional equipment and services to the facilities in their area. Some of the primary equipment supported includes Daktronics Inc. ProStarâ, LED Video Displays and various controllers and software. Secondary equipment supported includes incandescent & LED message centers and standard scoreboards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide on-site technical service (maintenance) for all display and control equipment. 2. Be available to set up and test equipment before each event (1-2 days prior) and take down all equipment after the event. 3. Be on-site and/or on-call during all scheduled events (for facilities that have purchased event support). 4. Appropriately document all services performed: Service logs, Work logs, Inventory and Shipping documents. 5. Develop a strong business relationship with customers and other personnel. 6. Promote and provide additional equipment and service in the facilities. 7. Installation support includes: 7.1. Effectively supervise and assist with field product installations. 7.2. Travel to installation sites in the United States and internationally by ground and/or air travel. 7.3. Provide on-site technical support, which may include terminating fiber, field repair, testing, troubleshooting, operator training, maintenance training, and coordination with subcontractors. 7.4. Communicates with project manager(s) on interactions with subcontractors, progress of project and accomplishments against installation plan. 7.5. May represent Daktronics at on-site installation meetings. 7.6. Will follow the procedures outlined in the Installation Supervisor’s Guide and follow the appropriate documentation. 7.7. This position will manage projects to maximize profit by communicating scope of work to the customer, addressing revisions and translating customer ideas effectively to production personnel. Secondary equipment supported includes incandescent & LED message centers and standard scoreboards. The student service & support position establishes the technical experience foundation for future growth into fulltime career positions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in providing on-site technical service (maintenance) for all display and control equipment. Become familiar and proficient at reading schematics and using trouble-shooting equipment. Examples of equipment include soldering and desoldering equipment, Analog and Digital oscilloscopes, frequency generators, power supplies, multimeters and Daktronics Test Fixtures. 2. Learn Daktronics products, systems, and processes and accurately diagnose, trouble shoot, and repair these systems in timely and quality-conscious manner. Will use classroom and work experience to accurately diagnose, troubleshoot and repair Daktronics products 3.
