Description

Circa 1850 this grand Victorian mansion offers an oasis of calm elegance and sophistication for discerning travellers. The Manor House Boutique Hotel is located close to some of city's most vibrant entertainment and restaurant precincts - Taylor Square and Oxford Street, Paddington, Darlinghurst, Woollahra, Surry Hills and East Sydney and of course Aussie Stadium, the Sydney Cricket Ground and Fox Studios.

Lovingly restored in the 1990's, the hotel has recently been purchased by the renowned Sydney hotelier Michael Hall who ran the famous Sebel Townhouse, and the Manor House Boutique Hotel now gives guests both a special ambience and the service standards to match.

The Manor House Boutique Hotel is located at 86 Flinders Street, only 300 metres or a two minute walk from Oxford Street, Sydney's most famous nightclub area. Sydney's popular inner suburbs of Darlinghurst, Paddington, Woollahra, East Sydney and Surry Hills are all literally next door. The Hotel is 1.7 kilometres from Sydney's city centre and only a short five minute stroll to Aussie Stadium, the Sydney Cricket Ground and Fox Studios. The Hotel is also only minutes away from St. Vincents Hospital & Clinic, thus is an ideal base for visiting family and friends.

Convenient to Sydney Airport and to all forms of public transport, the Hotel's location close to Sydney's Eastern Distributor toll way makes access by taxi or private vehicle to and from anywhere in Sydney extremely easy.

The Celebrities Bar is our fully licensed cocktail bar. Filled with memorabilia collected by Michael Hall over a span of 28 years, its décor is reminiscent of the famous Sebel Townhouse Hotel, which Michael managed. Depicting the many celebrities that stayed at what was Sydney's top hotel in its hey day, our Celebrities Bar offers a nostalgic atmosphere of glamour and fun.

It is the perfect place to meet and relax over a drink. It features a comprehensive wine and spirits list, including our famous Manor House Cocktail.

Breakfast and Room Service

You'll find the hotel's restaurant situated on the ground floor alongside our indoor plunge pool. Covered by a spectacular glass atrium, bathing the whole area in light, our restaurant offers a bright and airy atmosphere where you can enjoy our Continental breakfast offering a range of breads, jams, cereals, fruit as well as naturally juices, coffee and a selection of fine teas. Served daily from 7 am till 10.30 am.

Refreshment is never far away, with each guest room having a fully stocked mini bar. We have arrangements with a variety of quality restaurants and cafés, and therefore room delivery of what you fancy throughout the day is always available.

Each of the Manor House's 20 individually decorated rooms feature ornate high ceilings, beautiful antique furniture and fittings, and private ensuite bathrooms. Every room offers fully stocked mini-bar, a private safe, IDD telephone with personal answering system, internet connectivity, clock radio, as well as large screen TV and video.

The Manor House offer a choice of room styles to suite differing needs and budgets. The premier Manor Rooms are expansive with king sized beds. The Deluxe rooms are slightly larger than our Standard rooms, each offering queen sized beds. Every room is air-conditioned. The Manor House provide complimentary tea & coffee facilities, as well as free daily newspapers. There are ironing facilities as well as hair dryers in each room.
