In 1998, Vince Piccolo envisioned a unique, Italian-style coffeehouse and bistro. One of the founders of the Vancouver restaurant Villa del Lupo, he sought to create a caffè that offers superior coffee, excellent food and a lively, comfortable atmosphere.

In January 2000, Caffè Artigiano opened its doors on Pender Street to widespread applause by local coffee enthusiasts. In April 2002, Caffè Artigiano opened its second location, this one on Hornby Street, serving Vancouver’s shopping district. This location offers the same fine food selection and great coffee.

Caffè Artigiano is proud to have introduced Latte Art to Vancouver! What sets us apart from other coffee shops is not only the ambiance and great food, but the passion put into each cup by the skilled baristi. Artigiano is an Italian word that means artisan or craftsman. The staff at Caffè Artigiano are all artisans creating an overall experience you won’t find anywhere else.
