The nearest re-compression chamber is in Denpasar - approximately 120 km drive south west and 3 hours evacuation time from the dive site. Limited diving insurance is provided (up to US$ 40,000 per person).


This Bali scuba diving operator has oxygen and radios on site for all dives. One divemaster is provided for every four divers.


Saya Dive Resort has two lockable drawers in each room for valuables, and security guards patrol day and night. There is a tourist police station and clinic in the nearby village village of Tulamben, 1 km away, and the nearest hospital is in Amplapura, 25 km away.
