Tran Thanh Nam – Founder
Nam has worked in the travel industry from his student days in 1994.
He has had many different jobs: Tour guide, Tour Operator, Marketing
Executive and Sales Manager. In 1997 he was appointed Director of
Huong Giang Tourist's Hanoi Branch. Rewarded for the excellent performance
results he achieved in Hanoi, he became the Director of Huong Giang
Tourist's HCMC Branch in December 2001.
In 2000, Nam obtained an Executive MBA from the Asian Institute of
Technology – Bangkok, Thailand. During his time in Thailand,
he discovered that none of the highest quality Websites on Vietnam
travel belonged to a Vietnamese company and resolved to do something
about it. Out of that resolve, Discover Mekong was born. |

Nguyen Long An – Online Services Manager
 An
obtained an MA in Economics from the Institute of Social Studies in
The Hague, Netherlands and a BA in Information Technology for Management
from the National Economics University of Hanoi. With an ardent passion
for travel and an active interest in e-commerce development in Vietnam,
An joined Discover Mekong as the ideal way to combine his interests.
This website is largely the result of his enthusiastic drive and direction. |

Pham Hong Chuong – Product Manager
Chuong has more than 15 years study and practical experience within
the tourism field. He has studied at Essex University in England and
Saint Mary's University in Canada. An author of many tourism management
textbooks and is a frequent visiting lecturer at the National Economics
University in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Chuong joined Huong Giang Tourist in 1997. He is in charge of all
tour development programs for Huong Giang Tourist Company and Discover
Mekong.

Ngo Minh Duc – Business Development Manager
 Duc
has been involved in the tourism business since he was a student.
For five years he was a head of one of the Market development teams
for Vietnam Airlines (before joining Huong Giang Tourist). He has
extensive knowledge of both the tourism and airline industries. With
a BA in Tourism and Hospitality Management, he is also known as one
of the youngest managers in the Vietnam travel industry. |

David Lowe - Marketing Manager
 Dave
first came to Vietnam in 1993 as a student of Vietnamese Studies.
Since then he has travelled the length and breadth of the country
by every means imaginable. He has previously worked in the hospitality
industry in Australia and for a leading internet travel company in
San Francisco, where he sent many clients to Vietnam. He is fascinated
by the richness of the culture and the remarkably varied landscape
of Vietnam.
His forte is tapping into his own personal knowledge and experiences
in the country to match client's needs with the enormous diversity
and variety on offer in Vietnam.

Hoang Thi Mai - Northern Region Operations Manager
 Mai
had been working with Huong Giang as a tour guide since her university
graduation. She pays meticulous attention to detail, and is acknowledged
as the most prominent Operations Manager at Huong Giang Tourist. Based
in Hanoi, Mai takes care the Northern Vietnam part of your Vietnam

Nguyen Hang Quy - Central Region Operations Manager
 He
joined Huong Giang Tourist in 1994, and was one of the first members
of the Central Operations Team. Initially, he worked as an English-language
Guide and Tour Operator before becoming head of the Hue Operations
Team. Born and raised in Hue, he knows which aspects of Hue and the
central region that will make your Vietnam trip unique and memorable. |

Bui Dinh Trong - Southern Region Operations Manager
 Trong
has worked at Huong Giang Tourist since 1997 when he started as a
Tour Operator. A typical Saigonese – both friendly and concerned
with details, he is always ready with a smile. His wish is to fill
your trip with smiles and considers it the most precious award for
his dedication. He is always side by side with you during your trip
in his territory. |
