Most
diving happens at Julian Rocks
Marine Reserve, which is now part of the recently
established Cape Byron Marine Park. Dive sites are only
a few minutes boat ride from Main Beach, Byron Bay.
Tropical
and temperate currents meet here, resulting in an unique
mixture and incredible abundance of marine life. Other
spectacular dive sites around Byron Bay include Spot
X, Mackerel Bowl, Cape Pinnacles and Middle Reef.
The
extensive library at PLANULA can help with identifying
different fish, nudibranchs or other invertebrates encountered
during the day.
