Highlight

More than 60 Muskie Fellowship alumni met with the President of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili, on October 11th, at the re-entry seminar in Tbilisi at the State Chancellery of Georgia. President Mikhail Saakashvili, himself a Muskie alumnus (1992-1993, Columbia University, Law), welcomed the newly returned alumni to his office and discussed the current political, economic and development issues of Georgia. An engaging dialogue and constructive debate followed his opening speech. The president took great interest in the opinions of Muskie alumni on critical political and economic reforms, and on developments in Georgia.
