Doing Business In Bali / Lombok
This page will only be of interest to the normal tourist / visitor
if they want to buy some large items in Bali / Lombok and then ship
them home. Or if someone absolutely has to buy that wicker basket
they saw in some shop somewhere.
In addition to shipping companies, we are prepared to add to this
page any truly good business in Bali / Lombok, that may have a loose
tourism connection. Such as a builder for foreigners that might
want to build a holiday home here. Perhaps a solicitor (lawyer)
who can help those in need. Also, craft companies who are looking
to help the local population by increasing their markets beyond
agriculture and tourism, and who are, perhaps, looking for overseas
contacts.
We do not charge people for adding their links to these pages.
So, if you would like your own Balinese / Lombok related company
to appear on this page, or if you have used a company in Bali /
Lombok that treated you well, or if you found a good informational
web-site that would enhance this section, please drop us an e-mail
and let us know. We are also open to correction about any point
raised, and to adding any appropriate, well written story if you
have something to say

Bali web site owners, have you checked out our Featured
Sites Page?

Pilar Bali - Teak wood specialists. A little secret - This is the
company that this forum's owner uses. They make high quality items like
solid four poster beds, at a fraction of the cost of stores in the tourist
areas. They are located about 5km due East of Sukawati, have their own
timber kilns (very important) in Java (where all the teak wood comes from),
kiln dry the wood for 3 weeks (also very important, you need at least
2 weeks kilning to avoid warping / cracking problems). King sized 4 poster
beds cost Mark 2,100,000 rupiah, and they made the beds to his own desing.
