More than four years ago, Cape Fear Realty formed an extremely successful association with developer, Charlie Young, to market and sell Middle Island Plantation on Bald Head Island. An avid naturalist, Mr. Young’s greatest desire in developing Middle Island was protection of the environment and the delicate eco-system of the maritime forest, saltwater marshes and it’s beaches. Mr. Hyson shared that special vision of Middle Island and the rest became history. Middle Island Plantation is now in it’s final phase of development, with just a few home sites remaining.
