For the best local food, fine wines, and an evening of fun, the March of Dimes offers its Signature Chefs Auction events. These events, which help raise funds for the March of Dimes, pay tribute to the culinary excellence of local chefs and caterers in communities across the nation.
The basic ingredients
At Signature Chefs Auction events, 15 to 25 chefs and caterers present their signature dishes in miniature form during an opening reception. A lively auction follows with packages that may include dinners, hotel stays and weekend getaways. In 2003, these events were held in more than 200 cities, raising over $9.3 million for the March of Dimes.
