USTDA is a foreign assistance agency that interacts directly with developing and middle-income country project sponsors and delivers targeted activities that increase economic growth.  Working through the U.S. private sector to implement our programs, we bring best practices and U.S. technology to bear in delivering specific, results-oriented development assistance.

In addition, our programs promote capacity-building initiatives and help to advance U.S. Government trade, economic policy and development objectives around the world.  Our goal is to make mutually beneficial connections between U.S. businesses and overseas project sponsors that assist countries in meeting important development goals using U.S. goods. services and technology.
