Fishing...

Chinook Salmon Due to the upcoming construction of the waterfront vacation villas in 2005, King Coho recently closed its fishing operations. However, there is still great fishing in the waters off King Coho and lots of ways to enjoy it.

Check out the Comox Valley tourism website for information re boat rentals and fishing and wildlife charters. You will enjoy excellent fishing for salmon, halibut, sole, rock cod, red snapper and more.


Too Windy for Boats? Try Beachcasting -

Fishing from Shore Get your casting or fly rod and try casting for salmon right off the shore! A unique experience that everyone can enjoy. You can catch all species of salmon from the King Coho/Little River beach, from a 2 lb pink to an 6lb coho (silver) to a 30 lb chinook (king). What a thrill!
