The two Food Lion AutoFairs, one in April and one in September, encompass four days of car shows, car corrals, parts vendors, a collector car auction and unusual attractions.

At each show, at least 50 car clubs bring more than 2,500 cars for display. The car corral, located on the speedway's 1.5-mile oval, features more than 1,5000 collector vehicles for sale. More than 7,000 vendor spaces guarantee you will break in a new pair of walking shows.

More than 3,000 custom and modified cars of every variety and color annually attend the GoodGuys Southeastern Nationals in late October. Street rods, custom rods, street machines and muscle cars displayed at the show run the gamut from a Model A taxi to a Henry J compact suffed with V-8 power.

From little deuce coupes to lead sled Mercury customs, the K&N; Filters Goodguys Southeastern Nationals Oct. 29-31 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway will be a literal automotive smorgasbord.

The 11th year of this wildly popular show will see the California-based Goodguys organization bring more than 3,000 pre-1972 hot rods, street rods, customs, classics, muscle cars and trucks to Lowe’s Motor Speedway from across the country.

Also included in the weekend—the fastest growing show on the Goodguys calendar—is a manufacturer’s midway, model car and pedal car show and a chance to ride around the famous 1.5-mile oval at 130-plus miles per hour in the passenger seat of an authentic NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race car.
