The region faces the Tyrrhenian Sea and includes one of the finest coastlines in Italy. The hinterland is essentially mountainous, with irregular massifs broken here and there by valleys and plains. In front of the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno, we can admire marvelous and enchanting islands: Capri, Ischia, Procida To be visited: the splendid Amalfi coast; the marvellous islands; the Imperial Villa in Capri; the Royal Palace of Caserta with its splendid Italian gardens; Herculaneum and Pompeii.
Starting points
Naples and Salerno are the ideal starting points to visit the Amalfi coast, Capri, Pompeii. Also easily reachable are the Aeolian Islands and the Stromboli.
Naples - Procida island and Pozzuoli.
High above the tufaceous architecture of the Rione Terra, opposite the Gulf of Pozzuoli and the Islands of Ischia, on the right the castle of Baia: we are in the middle of the Flegrean fields. Sudcantieri is very close to the exit of the tangential road of Naples. It is in the middle of the Flegrean Fields and not far away from Capri, Ischia, Ponza, Ventotene and from the marvellous Amalfi Coast. Those who love sailing on the middle distance can reach the calabrian coast and the Aeolian Islands. Those who go ashore have a wide choice: Cuma is very close, by car you can reach Pompei and Ercolano, the historical centre of Naples, the Caserta Palace.

Salerno.
Situated in the tourist port of Salerno, right in the heart of the city near the railway station, 50km from Naples airport, the base offers berths on the jetties belonging to the Yachting Club as well as a bar restaurant, bathrooms and free parking on the marina. There are shops, restaurants, bars, banks and a mervellous promenade just a stone's throw away. For culture lovers, the provincial museum, the Romanesque cathedral and old quarter all located within a kilometer of the base.
