  Four-week forecast
underline

Valid for 6 December 2004 to 2 January 2005

High pressure, centred over the near continent will bring south to southwesterly winds across most parts during the period of this forecast. This airflow will bring a lot of cloud off the Atlantic, with rain at times, especially in the north and west, whilst southern and eastern areas have plenty of dry, bright weather. This brighter weather leading to some clearer spells overnight with risk of frost and patchy fog. Temperatures over the whole period will be near, or rather above average. The odd colder snap is possible, especially later in the period, but generally they should be relatively shortlived.

Updated every two weeks, on alternate Fridays.
