The tournament format for both monthly preliminary rounds and the final tournament will consist of three rounds, a semi finals round, and final round.
The Million Dollar Blackjack Tournament is a 13-month event consisting of 12 preliminary rounds held on the second weekend of each month and a final round which will be held May 12-14, 2005.
Each month, 16 players will advance to the 2005 finals. In addition to the 192 tournament finalists, 8 players will be chosen from a wild card drawing that will be held on May 12, 2005. All players who paid to be in the Million Dollar Blackjack Tournament will be eligible for this wild card drawing.
Winner of the Million Dollar Blackjack Tournament will be paid in one lump sum immediately after the tournament finals.
