Tell me more about fixed rate mortgage How to apply for fixed rate mortgage
You've decided that this is the mortgage for you - so what's next?
Step 1    Give us a call on 0845 605 8585 to tell us about yourself, the property you'd like to buy or that you're remortgaging, and how much you'd like to borrow.

We'll provide you with a "Key facts about this mortgage" document (also known as a "key facts illustration") and we should be able to give you a mortgage agreement in principle within minutes.
Step 2 We'll ask you to send us proof of your earnings - usually up to your last three payslips, or your last 2 years' accounts if you're self-employed.
Step 3 We'll organise a valuation of the property.
Step 4 We'll send you a mortgage offer setting out how much we will lend you. This remains valid for three months.
Step 5 The conveyancer dealing with the legal aspects of your mortgage will tell us the date they need to have the money we're lending. We'll send it to them so that they have it on the day you enter into your mortgage.
