Public Zone change:
We are now producing new public forecast zones in the Aleutians. The old zone that spanned from Atka to Shemya will be divided into two zones. One zone will span from Atka to Adak. The other will span from Adak to Shemya.
Marine Zone change:
We are realigning the Marine zones for areas 3A and 3B back to
the alignment they encompassed prior to the change made last January.
Area 3B will extend from Sitkinak to Shuyak Island. Area 3A will extend
out beyond the Barren Islands to include the portion removed from are 3B.
