If you're off abroad on business don't think that your company's insurance policy will automatically cover you. That's the warning given today by travel insurance specialist InsureandGo.
Perry Wilson says: "You may be only travelling on business to attend one meeting or several over a few days. Either way you need to ensure that you are insured - don't just assume you're covered."
On all of InsureandGo's single and annual trip policies people can add on business travel insurance for just a few extra pounds.
Perry continues: "When travelling on business people often don't have much baggage preferring to have carry on bags rather than having to wait at the carousel. But they are also carrying items such as laptops that are expensive and as such it's vital they have a good travel insurance policy in place to cover them should the unexpected happen."
