The medicassist.net,
medicassist.org and medicassist.com Web Servers use an
extended log file format which captures: date and time of visit,
referrer address (location
from which a visitor comes to medicassist.net, medicassist.org or
medicassist.com), type of Internet browser, and
visitor’s IP address. (Each computer that connects to the Internet is assigned a
unique number, an IP Address, for identification purposes). This information is collected
solely for a statistical analysis of website traffic. The log file does not capture a
visitor's email address. |
What happens to credit card information that is input on order
forms.

Any credit card information is encrypted
and kept on our server only to complete the transaction. This information is purged from
the server shortly after the transaction has been approved by the credit card company. |
What limits does Medic Assist have on the use of personal
information that is input on order forms.

This information is used to process your
order. A "hard copy" of each order and an electronic copy is retained for the
length of time required by taxing authorities. None of this information is available for
sale to, or use by, third parties. Medic Assist reserves the right to use this information
in order to advise you of updates on our site and new products as they become available.
However, since its inception in 1980, Medic Assist has never made such a mailing. Since
1996, when Medic Assist created its first website, never has the company sent e-mails to
the customer list.
