The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
Founded in 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, ACOG today has more than 43,000 members and is the nation’s leading group of professionals providing health care for women. Based in Washington, DC, it is a private, voluntary, nonprofit membership organization.



The American Academy of Pediatrics
The American Academy of Pediatrics is an organization of 57,000 primary care pediatricians, pediatric medical sub-specialists and pediatric surgical specialists dedicated to the health, safety and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults.


The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses
AWHONN serves the unique needs of more than 22,000 nurses in the U.S., Canada and abroad specializing in the care of women and newborns. AWHONN membership includes perinatal and neonatal nurses, APRNs, women’s health nurses, nurse scientists, childbirth educators and nurse practitioners.
