Guests are picked up at all major hotels in Bangkok and transferred by a/c bus southwards to start our bicycle exploration of the Mae Klong Delta area at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, the biggest and most colorful in Thailand. Our ride takes us through coconut, Aloe Vera plantations and fruit orchards. Riding quiet back roads and jeep trails we stop to visit temples and appreciate the countryside at ground level. In the early evening we take a boat cruise along the river where dinner will be served. We overnight at the Ban Chomduen, on the banks of the Mae Klong. The final day includes cycling a vaist to Rama II park before returning to the hotel for a shower and a late lunch before returning to Bangkok.

This is a gentle ride along country backroads and suitable for anyone that can ride a bike. On the first day we ride just over 40-kilometres and on the second day we ride 30-kilometre loop to along canal-paths to discover Rama II Park. Non-riders can enjoy a day at Ban Chomduen or a boat trip to the park. The roads are quiet back roads and red laterite jeep trails which cut through the plantations.

We ride as a group, with an experienced cycle guide setting a gentle pace. Stopping often to visit points of interest, we also take the opportunity to sample some of the local food. Our support vehicle follows close behind with plenty of water. Our guides are knowledgeable on the local area and customs and explain the history, culture and local way-of-life each time we stop.

Water, soft drinks and snacks are all included as well as lunch and we supply a TREK mountain bike and helmet.

This trip is suitable for anyone and is an excellent trip for families.

Day 1 Bangkok - Ban Chomduan 40 km [L,D]
06:30  Pick up from major hotels in Bangkok
08:00 Drive from Bangkok to Samut Songkram.
09:30 Visit the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.
10:30 Morning ride on back roads which will be a mixture of tarmac and jeep trails. 20km
13:00 Lunch on the river at local Thai restaurant.
14:00 Ride to Ban Chomduen. A ride of about 15-20km on back roads and jeep trails. Ban Chomduen is a charming residence full of character on the banks on the Mae Klong river.
16:00 Time to relax and enjoy these magnificent surroundings
17:30 Dinner cruise down the Mae Klong river and watch the sun go down whilst enjoying some great Thai food. See the fireflies illuminating the Lampoo trees.
19:30 Relaxing and free at leisure at Ban Chomduen 
Day 2 Bangkok - Ban Chomduan 30 km [B,L]
06:00 Rise early and transfer to temple to watch monks receiving alms.
07:30 Ride back to Ban Chomduen for breakfast
09:30 20km ride to visit the local temples and other interesting sites Rama II park. Return to resort to freshen up before lunch.
13:00 Lunch at Ban Chomduen.
14:30 Depart for Bangkok and drop off at hotels

Road Surface This tour follows a mix of asphalt roads, vehicle-width dirt roads. No technical ability is required.
Support One or two 8-seat air-conditioned minibuses fitted with two-way radio and specially converted to take bikes and bikers.

Staff Each tour is led by at least one fully-trained English speaking tour guide.
Accommodation 1 night at Ban Chomduen. A charming riverside resort with en suite facilities and a/c.
Food Full board from lunch on Day 1 to lunch on Day 2. Lunch is delicious Thai food with fruit. Dinner is superb Thai set with enough for hungry cyclists. Soft drinks, water and fruit are available all day while cycling.
