He departed Washington December 6 and will return on December 11.
Travel to Haiti Secretary Powell visited Port au Prince, Haiti on December 1. While there he met with President Boniface Alexandre, Prime Minister Gerard Latortue, civic and political leaders and MINUSTAH representatives.
In 2003, Secretary Powell made 16 trips overseas. He visited 45 countries and traveled 202,791 miles.
