Luxembourg

Luxembourg is a landlocked country in western Europe which borders Belgium, France and Germany.
The hills and forests of the Ardennes dominate the north, with rolling pasture to the south, where the main towns, farms and industries are found.
Summers are warm and winters mild, though colder in the north.
The iron and steel industry is still important but chemicals and food are growing. Luxembourg is a major banking center and the home base of key European Union Institutions. Also the tourist industry is important.
The 400.000 inhabitants live in an area of about 2.600 square kilometers.
Languages spoken are Letzeburg, German and French.
