Lawyer's affidavit regarding J. M. Daniels / Bali Discovery Tours

Here is a copy of the signed affidavit from a senior lawyer in Bali confirming it was J.M. Daniels of Bali Discovery Tours in Sanur (despite Daniels' / balidiscovery's claims to the contrary) that filed the spurious police complaint against me. In case you are wondering what the police themselves officially say, they are not allowed / obliged to say anything. In Indonesia, anyone can file a complaint against anyone else, and it is up to the police to decide if they should investigate. But, even if they do investigate, it is standard practice not to divulge the identity of the person who submitted the complaint to the person being investigated. So why did the police tell me, and others (including a top lawyer) it was J. M. Daniels / Bali Discovery Tours and then show us the evidence file to substantiate this? I can only believe the police officers were disgusted that the complaint was made in the first place.

Here is the affidavit with an English translation below.

To whom it may concern

I, Agus Saputra, SH. MH., while attending Mr. Mark Andrew Austin (English citizen) at the Police Headquarters in Denpasar, Bali. Relating to a complaint filed against him over the content of a business email which he, as a director of his English travel company, did send to a business within Bali. Witnessed the police evidence file, which consisted of an alleged copy of this email printed and with the header "John M. Daniels". Together with a hand written note, in English, speculating as to when Mr. Austin would be arriving in Bali next, and by which airline. I also heard the police confirm that the complainant was Mr. John M. Daniels of Bali Discovery Tours in Sanur, Bali. I also confirm, that the police released Mr. Austin and without charge on the basis that there was not a case for him to answer.
