            Claudia, who grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil, has been bodyboarding professionally for 20 years.
 She got her start by surfing at Guaruja, a beach an hour from Sao Paulo, and owned one of the first bodyboards ever in Brazil back in 1983.
          Since then, Claudia has garnered numerous awards being the most impressive:
-"Vice World Champion 1990"
-"WORLD CHAMPION 1995"
- "5 times Sao Paulo State Champion", and
She was granted in 2000 by the INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) with an American Green Card recognizing her as:
"Extraordinary Ability Athlete in the Sport of Bodyboarding".
For the past 12 years, she lives in Hawaii and her biggest goal is to help the improvement and awareness of Women Bodyboarding in America. She expects to achieve it with the development of this Web Site , Bodyboarding Clinics and Hawaii Surf Tours.
  She has also been consistently ranked as one of the Most Popular Bodyboarders in the World by
       the five leading bodyboarding magazines and was awarded Most Inspirational Woman
               Bodyboarder by the Global Organization of Bodyboarders (GOB) in 1997.
She is in a few major worldwide magazines interviews and you can check them out in the "PHOTOS" page, in the link magazines appearances.
  She has fought for the professionalization of Women Bodyboarding back in 1990 when the girls decided to go professional.
She has been traveling all over the world such places as: Hawaii, USA, Tahiti, Indonesia (Bali, Java, Sumatra), Australia, Reunion Island, Japan, Europe (Portugal, France, Spain), South America (Brazil, Peru), Mexico and Malaysia.
Her next trip goals are: Jeffrey's Bay, Fiji, West Coast Australia and Mentawi Islands/Indonesia.
