Master of Arts in Conflict Transformation

SIT is proud to offer its innovative Master of Arts in Conflict Transformation. With faculty and alumni engaged in vital peacebuilding processes throughout the globe and a comprehensive set of peacebuilding programs for students and practitioners, SIT is a respected leader in the field of conflict transformation training. Graduates join a dedicated network of skilled practitioners working as advocates, catalysts, and trainers helping communities heal and embrace peace.

SIT's Master of Arts in Conflict Transformation provides a comprehensive education in the interrelated causes of contemporary conflict, as well as training in strategies that aid in the reconciliation and transformation of intractable divisions. This degree program provides a supportive learning community that emphasizes reflection, selfknowledge, and cultural awareness. Participants develop practical skills in interethnic dialogue, intercommunal relationship building, negotiation, and group facilitation in preparation for positions with governments, academic institutions, nongovernmental organizations, the media, the private sector, and other professional venues.
