Master of Arts in Social Justice in Intercultural RelationsThere is a growing need for professionals who can act effectively on issues of social justice and equity in multicultural contexts. SIT's Master of Arts in Social Justice in Intercultural Relations responds to that need. Students are asked to deeply examine their own cultures and personal identities as they learn to facilitate individual, community, and organizational transformation. Through studies in diversity leadership, social action, education, training, and human resources development, students prepare for current and emerging careers in schools and colleges, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and business enterprises. Graduates develop the comprehensive intercultural skills and awareness they need to work for greater social justice through professional roles as facilitators, advisors, trainers, educators, curriculum developers, organizational consultants, outreach workers, organizers, managers, program planners, and evaluators in a wide range of contexts.
