- Who is the Clerk of the Circuit Court?
- The Clerk of the Circuit Court, Dorothy H. Wilken, is a constitutional officer elected to a four-year term by the voters of Palm Beach County. Ms. Wilken is serving her third term as Clerk of the Circuit Court.
What are the constitutional and statutory responsibilities of the Clerk of the Circuit Court? The Clerk is ministerial officer for the Circuit and County Courts and performs Constitutional and Statutory duties for the trial Courts as record keeper for all court records and pleadings that are filed. The Clerk of the Circuit Court serves as the Recorder of Deeds, Clerk and Accountant for the Board of County Commissioners, Custodian of County Funds, and County Auditor. The Clerk has also assumed several other responsibilities by inter local agreement: Printing Services, Mail and Courier Services and Microfilm Services.
