Our being a three
story wooden balloon framed building built in 1895, all
of the history this building holds and our unique galleries (porches) on the front are some of the reasons we have the
privilege to be listed on the
National Register of Historic Places.
"Thayer's
became my home in 1993. It is a beautiful work in
progress... it has gone thru a number of changes
over the years... and today, Thayer's has 11
guest rooms each with a full private bath, claw footed tubs
with shower, air conditioning, great food, whirlpools,
fireplaces comfortable beds, fine-fine linens, hair dryers, a
fantastic and very well stocked Coffee, Tea and Dessert Bar.
We have authentic antiques, two friendly house kitties,
TN and Miss Sadie Cat, a wonderful staff of 10 talented
people, a beautiful Victorian dining room, Tea room/parlor, out door gardens, old photo's,
enchanted guests (ghosts) that visit regularly, retreats,
workshops plus Interactive Murder Mystery Dinners and
Afternoon teas, carriage rides plus a lot of fun.
As you tour our
virtual Thayer's Historic Bed
n' Breakfast, you will find many photographs and scenes from
my enchanted home.

web site with
caution... only a real world visit gives a full Thayer
