 I read this cover to cover every month!
This is sort of like a more realistic Martha Stewart Living (makes sense since the person who started it used to be on Martha Stewart Living's staff). There are great tips, good, useful articles and it's beautifully presented. I find it very practical.Those who are looking for something like a voluntary simplicity magazine are not looking in the right place (and quite frankly the idea of having a voluntary simplicity magazine seems a bit counterproductive). This magazine is about living well, but without excess. I don't have a six-figure income, but I am willing to pay a little more for a good white shirt that will last for years and still look fashionable. The range of topics covered is equally satisfying - you'll get cooking tips, homekeeping tips, fashion and beauty tips and well-researched articles on relationships, financial and lifestyle issues. Is the magazine a little unrealistic? Of course - it's a LIFESTYLE magazine, part of the charm is the sense of escapism. However, I've found it to be the most practical device of escapism yet and look forward to every magazine.
 what's not to like?
I love the whole concept of this magazine: how to simplify your life. This magazine always inspires me to enjoy the every day pleasures more and helps me get organized. And unlike other magazines, I find myself actually using the information in the Real Simple articles: what to save and what to throw out when cleaing your closet, tasty simple recipes, how to look fashionable without spending a lot of time on getting dressed. Small changes that can be made in everyday life which make a difference. My only complaint: at times, the magazine is a bit too spiritual for my taste. A great gift for any busy woman!
My Favorite!
I read a lot of magazines, and this is my favorite (second favorite is Oprah's). There are so many useful articles. And this is the only magazine I actually keep after I read it - all the others I toss. I do this because I can refer back to them for helpful hints. This is a very well done magazine! Good job!
