The Comox Valley: Central Vancouver Island
Location
The Comox Valley Regional Airport is fast
becoming a regional transportation hub for Vancouver Island. The newly
expanded airport terminal handles Westjet's direct flights from Calgary
and Edmonton, as well as Pacific Coastal's flights from Vancouver. The
Comox Valley's mid-point location puts all of Vancouver Island from
Victoria in the south to Tofino on the west coast to Port Hardy at Vancouver
Island's northern tip within a day trip's reach.
The Comox Valley is also the access point by ferry to Vancouver Island
from Powell River on the BC mainland's Sunshine Coast.
The Comox Valley ( including the main communities of Courtenay, Comox
