Elections for the MS1 Officers of the Whitehead Medical
Society begins today. Voting polls will be closed at 5:00PM on Friday,
Sept. 24th. Please take time and review the candidates' websites before

Welcome to the School of Medicine at UNC! The next several years will be some of the most challenging and rewarding years of your life. The Whitehead Medical Society, UNC medical school's student government, exists to serve you and hopefully make your experience here better with each passing year.
You could not have picked a better place for your medical education
than in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. You will be trained under many of
the nation's best clinicians, scientists, and researchers in their
fields. You will be surrounded by fellow students that are
extraordinary leaders and thinkers who will challenge and inspire you.
You will learn from a diverse patient population and have multiple
opportunities to serve the community. Best of all, you will
do all of this on a beautiful campus at an excellent hospital in the
heart of North Carolina.
If you are interested in participating in the Whitehead Medical Society as an officer or class representative, please get in touch with us or any other officer. You can find a list of class officers on the website. First year class elections will be held early in the fall, and you will be hearing more from us soon.
