In order to get a lower apr on your credit cards there are a few things you can try. You could call your credit card company and ask them to lower it. Although they might not be able to offer you the lowest rate they might be able to lower the apr on your credit cards. You will be surprised to see how much even a little lower apr will save you. You might also look at your credit score and see where your credit weaknesses are and repair them.

The apr you pay on your credit cards is based on your credit score. The higher your credit score the lower the apr. So look at your score to see if it has raised since you applied for your credit cards. You will be able to qualify for a new credit card with lower apr or have the apr lowered on your existing credit cards if it has raised.
