LAOS BORDER CROSSING AND MEKONG RIVER TRIP
The tour departs Chiang Rai to Golden Triangle. Continue
on to Chiang Saen to explore the famous archaeological site and ruins.
Travel along Mekong River to Baan Kiuw Karn and visit the White
H'mong tribe. Later a stop is made at Chiang Kong, famous for the
sighting of giant catfish - though this is seasonal.; then cross the border by
boat across to Laos - Tha Buck. A visit is made to Lantan hilltribe
providing the tourists a glimpse of ethnic village life. The journey continues
to visit a Sapphire Mine before heading on to Huay Sai market for
shopping. Return to the Thailand's side and transfer back to your hotel.
