Data Center Technician
Marketing Director - Asia Pacific
Marketing Director - Asia Pacific
Position based in China or Hong Kong.

hardworking, experienced leader who will drive Google's marketing efforts in the Asia Pacific region through building a world-class marketing organization
that positions, packages, and promotes Google's product and business offerings in the Asia Pacific region.
Major functions:
- Build and mentor a world class team to handle all of Google marketing
efforts in the region. Hire top-notch marketers who can build and maintain
Google’s brand and product leadership.
- Lead the development of Google’s marketing plans for consumer,
advertiser and publisher products in APAC, working closely with the Google
product, sales, and PR teams in the U.S. and the regional Google sales teams.
- Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns including:
- Direct marketing, affiliate marketing, online/offline advertising and promotions.
- Local marketing communications materials including sales collateral, presentations, merchandise, print and online advertising, and email newsletters.
- Trade shows and industry events and advise where company participation or sponsorship would be appropriate.
- Standalone Google events and workshops, where appropriate
- Co-marketing, reseller and other third party relationships. Provide tools and collateral and create an event strategy to enable resellers to effectively sell Google's advertising products.
- Ongoing retention programs and manage advertiser and publisher communications
- Local Market Research
- Champion the needs of the larger countries in APAC - China, Japan, Australia, and Korea - in a fast-changing and dynamic international company.
- Contribute proactively to the overall development of Google through ideas and creativity based in solid market and sector knowledge.
- Ensure the monitoring of consumer, industry and competitive behavior in China, Japan and Korea and provide local market expertise to the Google team.
- Create the APAC agency strategy, solicit and evaluate agency bids, and manage agency relationships.
- Evaluate consumer marketing opportunities and initiate programs to increase awareness of Google search in APAC through development of creative programs, brand awareness campaigns and promotions.
- Manage the APAC marketing budget.
Education and language skills:
- MBA or masters preferred.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin. Fluency in Japanese and Korean a plus.
Experience:
- Has successfully led a high caliber team of 8 – 10 individuals in the APAC region, ideally in a technology or consumer goods company.
- Minimum 8-10 years marketing experience in the Asia Pacific market, particularly mainland China market.
- 3-5 years Internet, online services/media industry experience.
- Minimum 4 years business-to-business marketing experience.
- Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market.
- Understanding of the search, online advertising, or web publishing markets.
- Understanding of Google's strategic and competitive position.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding and highly creative marketing achievements with limited budgets.
- A proven, successful track record of increasing company revenue and awareness through well-executed marketing efforts.
- Thorough knowledge of off/online advertising planning, tracking and reporting.
Skills and abilities:
- Motivated and creative with the ability to self-manage.
- Strong negotiation and budget management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluency in English also required.

Marketing Programs Manager - Asia Pacific
Position based in Hong Kong.

and business offerings in the Asia Pacific region. This role will be responsible
for supporting Google's revenue generating efforts in the Asia Pacific
region, particularly in China, Japan and Korea, through effective and
results-focused marketing campaigns. Key activities include organizing,
negotiating and managing direct mail campaigns, partnership marketing
and affiliate programs, online/offline advertising campaigns, trade shows,
Google events and seminars.
Major functions:
- Develop, manage and implement the marketing plan for Google's consumer, advertiser and publisher products in China, Japan and Korea, working closely with the Google product and corporate marketing teams in the U.S. and the regional Google sales teams.

Position based in Hong Kong.
Google wants to grow its presence and is looking for
an exceptional leader to drive the establishment of our Hong Kong based
office and business in China.
Your objectives:
- Drive advertising revenue in the region.
- Recruit, educate and manage local resellers in China.
- Establish strong relationships with advertising agencies and direct
advertising clients.
- Prospect, qualify, negotiate and close key accounts.
