WTHR4 whatever you're doing


Step by step guide to using the WTHR4 service:

1 Go to the function on your mobile phone which enables you to write text messages.

Type in wthr4 (either upper or lower case) followed by a space then enter either a full UK postcode (with no spaces) or type in a UK city, town or village name.

An example using a postcode:
wthr4  bn25uf

or using a UK city, town or village name:
wthr4  brighton

Send your message using short code: 82222

Currently this service is available on all networks except Virgin mobile.

Wait for your forecast (typically a few seconds but speed will depend on your network).

An example message:

BRIGHTON 27/09:10am-bright dry, 11am-showers,12pm-showers,1pm-bright dry,2pm-bright dry;16 to 17C; Breezy

Charges are 25p per message

Prices are quoted inclusive of VAT. The charge will be debited from your phone bill or will be automatically deducted from your airtime voucher / credit top up scheme.
