The board consists of eight
trustees and is staffed by the Department of Revenue, Treasury Division. The
board is required to appoint an investment advisory council
(IAC) composed of at least three and not more than five members who possess experience and
expertise in financial investments and management of investment portfolios. ASPIB
also contracts with an external consulting firm for
assistance with asset allocation and strategy, performance measurement, and general
consulting purposes.
