Yahoo! HotJobs is looking for a highly talented individual to join the team as a Business Analyst reporting to the office of the General Manager of the HotJobs Business Unit.
This role plays a critical part in the daily operations of the business as well as participating in the development and execution of the strategic goals of the business. The Business Analyst will work with the Business Operations team members in partnering with cross-functional department managers to identify improvement opportunities that can provide positive impact to HotJobs? operations and bottom line. The role may also help to create performance measures to place focus on the key drivers of HotJobs? success for new business lines as well as support the market facing teams in understanding recruitment advertising segments and marketplace dynamics.
Skills/Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will be analysts who: ? Are innovative, proven performers with a history of delivering effective analysis through financial and operational analysis. ? Have an ability to see the big picture while effectively analyzing details. ? Have working knowledge of reporting processes and proven track record in using trend analysis to drive decisions. ? They must also have the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment. ? Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills required, MS Access skills a plus. ? Strong quantitative skills required. ? Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. ? Familiarity with online business models would be a plus.
Experience:
? Minimum of 2 years as an analyst with a background in financial analysis, modeling and operational reporting. ? Must be a self-starter who can work independently as well as coordinate efforts across cross-functional teams
Education:
? Bachelor degree required; MBA preferred, but not required.
