$30,690,000 firm fixed price contract
to provide for three C-130H aircraft and related spares
for the Egyptian Air Force. This effort
supports foreign

(Defenselink -- 7 December 2004) Lockheed Martin, Maritime Systems and Sensors, Moorestown, N. J.
was awarded a $10,335,000 cost plus award fee modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-04-C-5144) for Combat System Engineering Services and Computer Program Maintenance in support of Japan Kongo (DDG 173) Class Aegis Ships under the
Foreign Military Sales Program.

(Defenselink -- 2 December 2004) The Boeing Co., BCMC3 & Strategic Systems Division, Anaheim, Calif.,
was awarded a $10,900,000 cost plus fixed fee contract to provide design agent and technical engineering services in support of the AN/USQ-82 (V) Fiber Optic Data Multiplex Systems (FODMS) for DDG 105-109 and Japanese Navy DDG 2317. The AN/USQ-82 (V) FODMS is a modular, general purpose multiplexing system capable of transferring the majority of internal data signals aboard DDG-51 Class ships.

Foreign Military Sales Program.

was awarded an estimated value $13,279,193 cost plus fixed fee contract to provide in-service logistics and engineering (ILSE) support services for the F/A 18 Weapon Systems for the U.S. Navy ($9,318,134; 70 percent) and the Governments of Canada ($1,201,376; 9.3 percent), Spain ($835,740; 6.3 percent), Australia ($652,922; 4.9 percent), Finland ($557,160; 4.2 percent), Kuwait ($348,225; 2.6 percent), Switzerland ($295,991; 2.2 percent), and Malaysia ($69,645; .5 percent) under the
Foreign Military Sales Program.

awarded a $158,222,040 modification to a previously awarded
firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-04-C-0006) to exercise an
option for the procurement of AIM-9X Tactical Missiles for
the U.S. Air Force (178) and the U.S. Navy (93), and the
Governments of Poland (178), Denmark (60), South Korea (41),
and Switzerland (1 Lot (quantity classified); Captive Air
Training Missiles for the U.S. Air Force (70) and the U.S.
Navy (42), and the Governments of Denmark (32); Poland (20),
and Switzerland (3); and containers for the U.S. Air Force
(69) and the U.S. Navy (39), and the Governments of Denmark
(28), Switzerland (24), and South Korea (10). This contract
combines purchases of the U.S. Air Force ($43,397,637; 27
percent), U.S. Navy
($23,559,216; 15 percent), and the Governments of Poland
($46,416,730; 29 percent); Switzerland ($18,852,323; 12
percent); Denmark ($16,000,976; 10 percent); and South Korea
($9,995,158; 7 percent) under the Foreign

DSCA supported an International Customer Symposium at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center on Wednesday, October 13, 2004. The focus of the symposium was on policies and issues of particular interest to Foreign Military Sales customers.

On October 14th and 15th 2004, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) explored how Security Cooperation programs foster enduring relationships with our allies and other friendly countries during its annual conference with the theme "Supporting Tomorrow's Coalitions Today."
