Watch the Mail, Helen, Here Comes Another Credit Card Offer

0% Interest for Six Months, Bonuses, Rebates, Rewards: Here Comes Another Credit Card Offer.
What it boils down to, with every credit card offer, is just about the same thing. A credit card company is trying to hook you and reel you in to take their card. If they hook you on a low or 0% introductory interest rate, after six months they are going to rise to pretty much the norm, or worse. If they grab you on a rebate or a great bonus of frequent-flier miles or telephone minutes, you can bet the lint on the bottom of Helen's purse that the rate required to earn the bonus is going to be dang hefty.
Credit Card Offer in the Mail
Sometimes you will receive a so-called pre-authorized credit card in the mail. All that means is that there's been an automatic search through the zillions of credit reports and that yours falls within the general parameters of someone who pays his bills but is still a sucker for easy cash -- spend now, pay later. Credit card offers may flood Helen's mailbox since she fits the bill -- and maybe so do you.
Credit Card Offer Online
Just type in a casual and innocent search for credit card offers and you will be inundated with offers and pop-ups and more pop-ups and unsolicited web page hits and who knows what? Helen found it out the hard way when she filled in a no-obligation online application. Her email box was flooded with spammy mail with every kind of credit card offer. She finally folded and got a new email address.
Credit Card Offers on the Phone Minimized, Thank God
Used to be that credit card companies would offer you new cards all the time on the phone. Now that we have the option to opt out of phone solicitors, these offers are at a minimum.
Check out That Credit Card Offer.
You can get all the skinny on any offer if you look at the box which summarizes everything, according to federal law. Even Helen can understand it.
