Unfortunately some people get into credit rouble and give up. This is unfortunate for several reasons. One of the reasons is once your credit report has been damaged it is hard to fix. The second reason is that your credit report says a lot about you and if it is negative this will give others a negative image of you too.

Your credit report gives those looking an at it an idea of what kind of person you. By looking at the report they can determine if you reliable, dependable and can keep to your word. Essentially when you ask for credit and pay it back on t ime as agreed upon that says a lot about your character.

If your credit report is negative this does not mean you are a bad person. This simply means that you have experienced some financial difficulties for whatever reasons. What is important is that you bring your credit report back up to good standing.

The parties who will look at your credit report are lenders, credit card companies and even potential employers. If you are wondering what your credit report has to do with what kind of an employee you are the answer is a lot!

It shows if you are dependable and reliable. The ways your credit report does this is by showing your credit history. Your history will reveal is you pay your debts on time or if you even bother to pay them at all. This is important to some potential employers because it shows how you keep to your agreements and basically how responsible you are.

The answer to this question is anyone you give permission to. In order to obtain someone's credit report a social security number is needed. When you give a party permission to look at your report please consider who you are giving it to.

By having your social security number this party has access to personal information including your debts, payment history and credit score. When granting permission for someone to pull your credit report consider if it is necessary or if you want his party to have the information.

What If I Think Someone Has Looked at My Report Without Permission?

This is very serious. If someone has looked at your report without permission, find out who the party is and how they got access to your social security number. Report it to the credit bureau, either Equifax, TransUnion, Experian or all three, immediately.

It is important for you to take care of this through the agencies because every time your credit report is requested it shows up on the report and can count against your credit score negatively. It is important to have anything negative on your report removed if it has been recorded in error because keep in mind that your report says a lot about you!
