SEO Choice
My portfolio demonstrates several important factors. First, that my work is current with results that speak for themselves. Secondly, it demonstrates the diversity of our work, from consultation, to performing the work ourselves. The third, and most important, is the choice of SEO. I have listed some past and current work that has suffered because of the choice of SEO. Whether it was price, or not, I don't know. At the end of the day, the choice of SEO is everything. If you do not want to employee my services, you can at the very least ask who is reputable. I am more than happy to forward you to a reputable SEO.
Remember, our information about cost for quality SEO? Well, you are not going to get quality for $100, sorry. The reputable SEO's vary across a broad range of costs, so comparison is a good place to start. If the price just seems too low for what the industry standard is, then you could be reasonably wary that something is wrong.
Do your homework and don't end up like some of the unfortunate businesses requiring my services to correct another's poor workmanship.
Testimonials
Can't find them? You won't here. I don't believe in them for online business, nor do I ask clients for them. Testimonials are more corrupt than online industries themselves. Prevalent, with fraudulent work to deceive and obtain money from people. A reference is one thing, a testimonial another. If you are given nothing but testimonials, ask for the actual people and websites that are giving them if they are not listed. That is generally the biggest giveaway, no contact details listed, just some name.
The best way to establish credibility online, before spending your money is ask previous and current clients. Nobody can manipulate the words of someone you ask for yourself. That's what a portfolio is really about. A reference for you to contact people for yourself, nothing much else in my opinion. |

Search Engine Optimisation Portfolio
By Anthony Parsons
The following is a comparative list, in no particular order, of Anthony Parsons SEO work. The following is not exhaustive, but more for demonstrational purposes, to reflect a broad range of website categories and niche sites that have been optimised by anthonyparsons.com and his team. We believe diversity and experience is the key to successful website optimisation and marketing. This demonstrates our flexibility and shows that we are not limited to any niche, nor region with our optimisation techniques.
Due to confidentially agreements, some sites will never be seen here, nor given when further work is requested for viewing.
Our customers site competitiveness have ranged from 1 to 20+ million all-in-title competitive keyword phrase search.
This is a business to business site for Roanoke, Virginia. This is one of my current jobs, though a great example of poor SEO choice. The company have waited months and months for results from their original SEO, no exceptional result. The company has results already within two months, and another five months of work remaining. Choice, choice, choice. If not me, then I can suggest reputable SEO's that will do the job correctly, first time. Don't waste your money!
This site is an electrical transformer manufacturer. Originally capturing 5-10 visits monthly. After optimisation, the site captured all relevant traffic for their niche terms. The company was marketed globally, focusing upon the Asia region. The company improved sales exponentially against its website investment, requiring building expansion and employment opportunities.
This site sells personalised disposable cameras. The owner of this website now maintains it herself and continually changes it, though way back when I performed optimisation, the site still maintains many first and second page rankings, such as "disposable camera" & "disposable cameras" within .au regional results. Regional targeting applied.
This was a heavy consultation job in conjunction with the site owner, current SEO and designer. The SEO had them duplicate content through a hundred or so domains which all ended up in the duplicate content filter. I finally got them to see the light and change essential aspects. The site is back on its legs again and indexed uniquely, though they still use the same SEO. Strange!
An outer-Sydney real estate agent that required to get his property listing out to the Sydney and regional buyers. The site now ranks highly for all relevant terms within his regional location and surroundings. This company is mainly focused on Australia, though some terms were targeted for the overseas market.
A Sydney gift basket business. This site was optimised to solely target the Sydney region. The site achieved top rankings for most terms to cover the Sydney and surrounding metropolitan areas. The site has been redesigned since original optimisation.
This was another smaller consultation job, in which the owner dropped off the rankings with no warning. Some changes and minor alterations replaced some of the rankings. Being an affiliate type site, the search engines are moving away from promoting sites that make others rich. Not much you can do about that.
